What to Prepare Before Hiring a Web Designer in the Philippines
By Michelle Austria · September 6, 2026
You do not need perfect copy or a complete brand book before a kickoff call. You do need enough practical information to make choices without guessing.
Bring the business basics
- Your business name, contact details, service area and opening hours.
- A short explanation of what you sell, who it is for and the action you want visitors to take.
- Your most important services, products or packages, including any prices you are comfortable publishing.
Collect the material you already have
Start with your logo, colours, photos, menus, brochures, reviews you have permission to publish, and links to social profiles. Real photos are more useful than generic images when they show your work, space, team or products.
Make the few decisions that unblock a build
- Choose who will approve copy and design, and how quickly feedback can happen.
- Decide whether you need enquiries, calls, bookings, payments or a catalogue first.
- Choose two or three websites whose clarity or style feels right—and say what you like about them.
What can wait
A domain name, polished long-form copy and every photo do not have to be final on day one. A good project identifies what is missing, agrees the launch priority, and avoids letting small decisions stall the whole site.
